Merry Christmas to ALL (Page 1/2)

The big day is finally here, the tree is up (still) and lit, and turkey is in the roaster and dressing ready for the oven. 3 pies cooked, some hard-as-a-brick cookies on the platter, another pie in the freezer as ready reserve if needed.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. .

This will be the smallest Christmas Day gathering of my family that I can remember.
Less than 10 are invited or expected., only partially because of Covid. As families grow and the younger get older, most have their own gigs on holidays (which I did as well at that age)

Merry Christmas.

It happened here, btw.
So heavy I had to knock it off some plants so it wouldn't break them.

Tis is the time for a Christmas 'tale.

First of all, Merry Christmas to you maryjane. Indeed, Jesus is the reason for the season.
Merry Christmas to all and to all find joy in your hearts. Joy for others, and give it as this is the time to give gifts.

Ah, the Christmas 'tale. My local radio DJ, right smack dab here, interviewed the artist who wrote "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer". It turns out that the song title was inspired by the lack of truth. The truth of the matter is that the title was a more of a sugar coating than "Grandma was hung over".

A part of the lyrics :

quote

She'd been drinkin' too much egg nog

My favorite Christmas musical song ? Heh, go figure. They wouldn't / couldn't play it at a Church I used to attend.

That version is by Johnny Cash, and, Neil Young.

As far as the size of Cristmas gatherings, ... Damn the Covid ! Live life full speed ahead. If one dies, they died living.

Merry Christmas to all of you!

Every year now at least 12 years I have watched a video of a dog playing in the snow set to music...The dog is long dead but I really enjoy watching how happy the dog is playing in the deep snow....
