Do you know for a fact that this new decree (legislation; executive order or whatever) actually has the effect of banning the sale of these air guns?

The whole thing is (legally) a total up-in-the-air screw-up right now, Rinse. They are being sued 20 ways to Tuesday over the stupidity.
The entire ban came down to "It's black and scary looking and hoits muh feewings because of its style" and nothing more. Yes, the LICENCED ones are included (because they are licensed by the manufacturer and therefore a variant) while the close-but-no-cigar cheena-land ones arent.

Ya know what REALLY blows my mind up here...
A .22 pest gun (Rugger 10/22) is controlled and "a gun" they run and scream about...
Yet any crack or meth head who wants can walk into a walmart or canadian tire and walk out with a nice happy-color bright orange marine flare pistol for about 50 bucks. Basically a 12-guage handgun.
