Iowa.
My wife lived in Iowa for a couple of years before abandoning it forever and moving to Texas.
Idiots Out Walking Around is how she describes it.

If they knew they were not providing adequate protection for their employees, that's just awful in and of itself. But workplace bets (with money at stake or just for 'kicks' is hardly rare. There used to be a deadpool for this one person's assistant, they wouldn't last 3 months.

Months ago, a few top Dems said they would refuse ANY stimulus package that came their way,no matter what. Screwing millions of people.

This is all such a crock of potatoes and if that new strain is as bad as they are saying, 2021 is gonna be ROUGH times.

Tyson Foods was one of the first companies busted for intentionally hiring and possibly trafficking illegals to work in their plants. Their management positively coached the illegals on how to come to America to steal American jobs at their plants.

They were probably betting on the illegals, and as we know illegals don't abide by law. They don't conform to the mask/social distancing directives.
Walmart was busted too. I bet people here shop at Walmart and eat Tyson products.

If you buy any kind of meat from any big box or national chain, or from a butcher that processes anything but locally obtained carcasses, there is a very high chance you have bought Tyson products.
Even many 'local butcher shops' buy their 1/4, 1/2 and full chilled cacasses from one of the major beef & pork processors.

I don't remember now if it was a Tyson plant (may have been the Chinese Smithfield plant) but the feds didn't shut the plant down in the early days of the pandemic. The workers did, when they walked off the job because of lack of covid protection.

I very highly dispute the claim that the majority of meats bought come from Tyson processors, or even that a high percentage do. Got a source?

I like the humor in the management betting on the percentage of positive cases, but probably not for the reasons one might think. Dumb people do dumb things. Sometimes it's funny to focus on those dumb things people do.

Dumb people here give "homeless" panhandlers money day after day at the same traffic lights. These loving donors stop in the middle of interstate off-ramps on a green light(!) to give money to someone I've seen later scratching off lottery tickets bought at the nearest convenience store with that money. These dummies even get out of their car on a green light to get things out of the trunk to give the grifters. The homeless panhandlers take a free bus ride back to their government provided homes with a sack of junk food they bought with someone else's money. Next day they ride the bus back to work the same traffic light.

One day I rolled my window down where one was holding a sign and smoking a cigarette. Boy here he came for his handout. When he got close I asked if he had a cig I could have and he gave me one. I thanked him and drove off. No money.

This is probably an older Tyson Food brands collection, but should be similar today. Jimmy Dean surprises me, but I don't eat that. Nathan's makes a decent hot dog, instead of Ball Park. I buy one thing from Walmart. A Sams Club cooked Nathans hotdog and a drink for $1.62. I use gift cards or change I find while perusing the junkyard. Right now I have a $14 card I found last week.

Maryjane is the source. If there is one thing that you can trust maryjane on (and there are many), it is beef.
sourmash DEC 21, 10:40 AM
Williegoat can be an accredited source regarding Maryjane's beef. But for the Tyson claim I'll await one.

You are disputing a claim he did not make. "a very high chance" does not equal "a majority".

You aren't being asked for a source and the partial quote does NOT cover his actual complete claim. This is beginning to develope into a discussion with a Democrat.
