It was a fairly decent movie.
As for the bird, it's a hefty fine to kill one here (or used to be anyway).

Triggering words in the classics. Yeah, a brave new world, eh?

Think the Mockingbird is the state bird of many states. I heard one mimicking a car alarm once. It lived across from a large shopping mall and it was one of those generic alarms that cycles through a few different patterns. The bird had it close enough to know what it was doing. Still makes me laugh.

I didn't feel the same about the book for most of my life. Seems I heard Harper never wrote another novel aferwards.
