RIP General Yeager. He was one of my inspirations for becoming a fighter pilot. The Right Stuff was an awesome read for a wannabe. (Fate Is The Hunter is another)

I was stationed at Edwards in the 1990s, you could see him and his history all over that base.

Growing up, it was him and Evil Knievel.
