I'm guessing this site doesn't have a rule against link dumping?
Having a rule that instructs that a blurb from the hotlink must be posted in the body with the link is VERY useful so we don't have to waste time going somewhere we aren't interested in going.

You can always identify a MEM thread based on the title alone. He will post two types of subject matter.
First and most often he will post a story about what he perceives as government overreach: “Priest arrested and handcuffed during communion for serving wine without a liquor license”
or a warning of impending doom: “Giant spiders lace webs with LSD in order to ensnare Bernie Sanders supporters and conscript them into an army of zombie assassins”
occasionally he will drunk-post a bro-country video and ramble incoherently about a woman.
The commonality between all of three tales is their dubious provenance.

I don't think its that far-fetched.
With the online learning for schools we are already seeing people have cops show up because a gun was in the background of a video call, or people fired because kids made noise IN THEIR OWN HOME.
Now they want to tax working there.
Next step, which is a very-very small one, is all of those ridiculous workplace laws, policies, regulations, procedures, and the insufferable political correctness (smoke in your own home ? forget it) are mandated and forced into your own home...because it's not your home anymore. It's a workplace.
And your last place of refuge and freedom is gone. It's already been happening here for 20+ years with various facets. This is just one more step.

Clearly, the will to build a better society does exist. We must use it to secure the Great Reset that we so badly need. That will require stronger and more effective governments, though this does not imply an ideological push for bigger ones. And it will demand private-sector engagement every step of the way.
