A Show Flyer from 1936 (Page 1/1)

I was named after my maternal grandfather W.T.Kimberl. He owned a print shop in Pensacola and was also a published poet, songwriter and musician, and a deacon in the Southern Baptist Church. Here is a flyer from 1936 where he produced the show and was also part of two musical acts.

On the front cover, he is in the lower right with the zither.

Here are the inside left and right pages of the flyer.

On the back cover, he is on the left. Most people called him either "W.T." or just "Dub"

The the south and the world were a very different place over eighty years ago.

That's pretty cool you have that kind of memorabilia. Hang on to that.

My wife told me to grow up. I told her to get out of my fort!

I don't actually have the flyer. Someone sent me a bunch of scans a long time ago.

That's what I am thinking. He was probably somebody's ex boyfriend. Some things never change.

Yeah, it wasn't just the South. It was the North right alongside of the South. It's just a popular norm to project.

Maybe he was "fiddling" where he shouldn't have been.
