I work with these all the time. I have probably close to 160,000 addressable LEDs in the house, most of them in spools ready for future projects. I design and build RGB/RGBW lighting projects that I then use the 3D printer and the CNC machine to make.

Shortcake is made like any other cake, more or less except once you make the basic sugar/flour/butter/salt mixture up, you add a couple beaten eggs and some whipped cream and work that into the mixture. It won't be a batter, it will be a dough, which you then press down in to a pan to bake.
The little round things you buy at the grocery store aren't real shortcake. Shortcake is supposed to be kind of crispy and a crust on the outside, more like a biscuit than cake. .
