So is the "glitch" that 6000 votes should have been for Trump all along? Or that 6000 votes went to Trump that should have been for Biden?

If this "vote glitch" story is picked up by the New York Post, or the Washington Examiner, or maybe the Wall Street Journal, I would give it some credence. I say the New York Post or the Washington Examiner, because they are recognized names in the news industry, and have been favorable towards Trump, or at least not totally against Trump in everything that they have reported.
I opine that the Wall Street Journal could also fit into that category.
I believe there are other names that would be familiar to me (were I to see them) that are not so totally against Trump that they would purposely bury this "vote glitch" even if they thought it was credible.
I just used Google with this as input, and limiting the search to the most recent 24 hours.
votes OR voting OR count OR ballots "Dominion Software"
I don't see anything that looks particularly credible to me, in terms of reportage.
If there is mistrust of Google, try some other search engine. I tried DuckDuckGo and came up with nothing. But maybe I'm not using it well. I almost always use Google.[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 11-07-2020).]

You know, I didn't vote for either major candidate and it's still obvious that there is fraud and deception (which is the norm). We're an embarrassment to the rest of the globe. Trump had 3 years to institute better ballot counting and compiling practices and he did nothing. He clearly had nobody with an ability to perceive the state we're in currently. Voting/ballot counting oversight reforms should've been done in the first 100 days and been an Executive Order directive as soon as the lock-downs were proposed.
He hasn't been an effective leader. He trolled his way to the top office but failed at crafting an effective administration.

The point is that software isn't just used in one county. It's everywhere.
Logically (and legally probably), that makes the entire fiasco (and voting system) unreliable and null-and-void. Back to square one.

That's from the Fox News report.
I think that the Trump campaign should have every opportunity to run this issue all the way to ground.
I think it would be excellent (but I don't expect it) for the Biden campaign to press just as diligently to get to the bottom of this and establish beyond any shadow of doubt that the Biden victory (it's just been "called" by... is it the New York Times?) cannot be an artifact of this vote counting machine screwup.
