Have you ever seen anything you would consider "otherworldly" (ghosts, monsters, aliens, etc.)?

Not me.
I seen some incredibly trippy shxt, but nothing that couldn't be explained...or ignored!
Listen, I realize this will go-south pretty quick so have a laugh!

Scary!

I've had a few (OK, more than a few) little unexplainable "incidents".

Never had a experience were i got scared or thought i saw a ghost or something. But i did have one interesting experience.

Back when i was in high school, a friend of mine lived in this tiny little country town called West Blocton.

Well they had this really old graveyard way out in the middle of the woods. It was all grown in, and probably hasn't been "used" in a very very long time. There was no fence or anything bordering the graveyard, it was just a bunch of old graves in the middle of the woods. Most of them dated from the late 1700's to the early 1800's.

Well we went out there to check it out, and i took my camera with me, and took a bunch of photo's of the site. Nothing unusual happened while we were there.

Later on i got the pictures developed and in all the pictures there were all these floating orbs all over the place in the photos, most of them floating around the gravestones, it was really weird. I still have the photo's too.

And there was one gravesite that had a photo of the guy on the stone encased in glass.. it was very blurry, but he literally looked just like Dracula, lol. Death date was 1778 i think.

A photo of someone who died in 1778?

I haven't refreshed myself on the history of photography, but I think the very first photographs known to history were--I'm guessing here--maybe between 1840 and 1850?

Is that Bibb County? The Italian cemetery?
I've been there a couple of decades ago. We stopped in West Blockton to visit the coke ovens but someone there said we should also visit the old Italian Cemetery. I have some pictures somewhere, but there are some on line too. (My ancestors came West from Alabama. no banjo on their knee tho)
I don't remember any stones from the 1700s but there were some from the 1800s and yes some had portraits of the occupant.
It was in pretty bad shape when we visited it.
Evidently, still is:

Throwing up his arm to block the sun or holding his cape up to avoid looking at a cross or mirror...........

I don't think that's the same cemetery. Hard to tell cause it was night time when we were there, and i never noticed any of that iron fencing, and the grass was not mowed or anything, it was all over grown, and yeah the site was in really bad shape, many of the stones were broken, or smashed, and pretty much all the concrete "tomb slabs" were all smashed open, and many of them were worn down by weather so badly it was very hard to read an engravings on them.. Basically just a bunch of really old graves in the middle of the woods. Not even a road leading too it.. Plus this was like 20 years ago, so my memory on it is probably a bit blurry.. I've still got the photos i took, just not sure how to post them, since i don't have a scanner to scan them onto my computer. I could try getting my digital camera and taking photo's of the photos, but that doesn't usually work very well, but ill try.
