He was 90 and in poor health but this really is sad. As I've posted elsewhere, he was one of my cinematic heroes. Supposedly a really nice guy, too. Oh, and he won 3rd place (in the tall man category, whatever that is) in the 1953 Mr. Universe contest.
RIP, Sir Sean.
