2 Falcon 9 launches already in Oct, with today's launch successful, the 60 Starlink satellite deployment was successful, 1st stage booster landing back on the drone ship was successful, and both fairing halves were captured by the net equipped ships. Today's recovered 1st stage has now flown 6 times.
Another Falcon 9 launch is scheduled.................in 3 days, to deploy another batch of Starlinks..
SpaceX is then scheduled to Launch Crew1 Dragon to the ISS in early Nov..exact date TBD. 3 US astronauts and a Japanese astronaut will be aboard.
Another SpaceX Falcon9 rocket is to send a package into orbit for USAF/USSF also probably in Nov with exact date TBD.
ULA is supposed to be launching a package (spy sat) for NRO next month via Delta Heavy, tho no definitive date is know, as the launch has already been scrubbed 6 times since August.
SpaceX expects(hopes) to launch it's next version of Starhopper/SN8/SuperHeavy before the end of the year to about 50,000' and return to it's launch site in Boca Chica Texas. I hope to be down in South Texas and watch that one in person. https://www.nasaspaceflight...s-first-super-heavy/
Ands finally, Boeing Starliner will make it's 2nd attempt (maybe) to send an unmanned version of their crew capsule to ISS sometime 'next year'.

Reports show that there are over 800 Starlink satellites in orbit right now. They are already over halfway to their 1440 number. I think that is their number to start beginning widespread internet service beyond beta service. Wiki says their goal is to have 4440 satellites, but they have approval for 12,000 of them if needed.
They are shooting up an additional 60 here in a the next few days.
The cool thing is that these satellites are in two different orbits, so their final completion, there would be two layers of these satellites orbiting the earth at all times.

While I'm not on board with all of Elon Musk's ideas, this one is definitely a money maker.

So be it but, to be clear, I didn't suggest anything about Mr. Musk personally, I simply said I wasn't on board with all his ideas.
Innovation is important and he's an innovator.

Did it again today. Good launch, payloads deployed and booster landed on the barge.

It barely made the news so far, but SpaceX/NASA launched the 4 astronauts into orbit tonight on another Falcon9 and all appears to be going well. Orbit achieved, the men are sleeping and capsule Resilience will mate up with ISS sometime in the next 72 hrs. 1st stage also landed back on Earth aboard one of the floating drone 'ships'. This same 1st stage is scheduled to launch the next Dragon cargo mission to ISS in March.[This message has been edited by maryjane (edited 11-15-2020).]

I watched the launch in person.
Ok, it was a very bright orange flickering light in the sky to the east of me but it was very cool to watch the liftoff on TV and then step outside on my porch and see the rocket in the night sky......and then go back inside and watch more live video after it climbed out of sight.
NASA said that the spacecraft is due to dock with the ISS sometime tomorrow evening / night. (27 hours from launch)[This message has been edited by randye (edited 11-15-2020).]
