The Presidential Debates: Topics have been released (Page 1/10)
blackrams SEP 23, 03:54 PM
The topics selected by Chris Wallace for the 1st Presidential debate have been released.

We will get to see what they have memorized about the following topics:

The Trump and Biden Records
The Supreme Court
Covid-19
The Economy
Race and Violence in our Cities
The Integrity of the Election

Although, I feel certain that both candidates will find a way to get off topic. This assumes former VP Biden and even get on topic.

I am looking forward to this with nervous anticipation. I have no idea what to expect from Biden, but the Dems must have a plan.

I think having pre-planned topics is unnecessary.
To find out what they are truly made of, hit from the blind side.
I dont like to see scripted responses and I HATE to see rambling off topic, time wasting anti-answers.
If they want promote confidence in the system then they need to avoid the typical political garbage. Dont let them ramble on, and don't accept non-answers to go by unchallenged. Stop them mid sentence and set them back on topic ASAP. Show them the public isn't putting up with the typical crap, we want real answers unscripted and no campaign nonsensical bumper sticker slogans cloaked as an answer.

Wanting and Getting are two different things. I like what you're suggesting and believe the President would mop the floor with former VP Biden, I just don't think that's going to happen. Former VP Biden will have some things ready to go, if he can remember what they are.

I like the idea of Joe Rogan moderating a 4 hour debate.

So far Biden’s game plan is “All bad things are Trumps fault”. Should be easy to remember.

How does the color orange make you feel? Orange can be a very strong and energetic color. Like yellow and red, it can be very attention-grabbing, which is perhaps why it is often used in advertising.

People often describe orange as bright, happy, and uplifting. In some cases, however, it can seem too bright and overwhelming. Much like purple, orange tends to be a controversial color. People tend to either love it or hate it.

Orange is very blatant and vulgar. It makes you immediately start having feelings.— Wolf Kahn

Cultural differences often play a role in how people relate to color. In the U.S., people might associate orange with prison uniforms President Trump, while in other countries it is linked to royalty and spirituality.

Ask Cliff Pennock about Orange

Topics are one thing but the actual questions posed by the moderator on those topics is quite another.

Biden has steadfastly REFUSED to be interviewed on TV by Chris Wallace so far, so I believe that there is a lot of concern by Biden's staff caregivers about how it's going to go. I'm sure they see FOX as "hostile" and by extension Chris Wallace, so it's a safe bet their debate prep will be geared that way and we all know how it goes with Dementia Joe when he gets the least bit angry when he's pressed on something or when he's confronted, (that's typical with dementia patients).

Conversely, President Trump has been interviewed by Wallace. I watched the interview half expecting the worst and he seemed to handle it very well even when Wallace attempted to push the President on some questions.

President Trump's style may succeed in actually goading Ol' Joe to emotionally blow up on stage which will make it all over and done with at that point.

If you're one of Biden's caregivers the big question is do you shoot him full of enough tranquilizer to keep him calm and not blowup, thereby risking him going off on another weird incoherent ramble, or do you pump his butt full of Adderall and stimulants to try to keep him awake and half-coherent for an hour and risk him blowing up and challenging the President to a fist fight?

Choices....choices....
