nothing has changed in Houston, and I'm not a bit surprised in the way the game went, but am surprised Houston was able to make it even that close.

Considering all the different issues of playing today, the quality of players, the coaching, the histories and management of both teams, I wasn't surprised at the outcome and will give the Texans credit for a well executed second half but, they simply aren't equipped to play with a team the quality of the Chiefs.

I assure you, having been a long time Chiefs fan, we've had our share of less than spectacular teams. I don't expect KC to go unbeaten this year but, I won't be surprised to see them back into the Super Bowl again this year.

That KC win is much less impressive today ..or should be.

Not only did KC beat Houston, so did every other team they played this year, including the previously winless Vikings yesterday.
Houston Texans 0-4.

Personally,
I doubt any team will be all they could be this Pandemic year.

But, so far the Chiefs are doing pretty well.

Chiefs over the Pats tonight.

FINALLY!!

Texans fired head coach/General Manager Bill O'Brien. He had a 52-48 record but traded away some really good players this last off season.

Final Scores is all that matters and yes, I do realize that the Chiefs can be beat.

If a franchise owner isn't willing to invest in getting the best team and coaches, they won't ever have a chance of continued success. It does appear the Texans are satisfied with being a lessor team. If you want to win the big one, you have to spend the $$$ and buy the talent. I can't think of a single team that has consistently won with second rate talent and low payrolls.

Ron........

The Texans have a premier QB in Deshaun Watson. They HAD a great 3x probowl defensive lineman in Jadeveon Clowney and traded him away for all but nothing in return aftertagging him a franchise player the year before.....traded because head coach and he didn't get along. (Head Coach Bill O'Brien was also the GM meaning he made all the trades as well as calling the plays) .
They HAD one of the best receivers in the league in DeAndre Hopkins and O'brien traded him away for nothing as well and then had to go get a running back to take his place, and gave up the next 2 years of 1/2 round draft picks for a sub-standard player. Deandre Hopkins now plays for Arizona and leads the NFL in receptions.

DeShaun Watson now has no one to throw to, and after last week's loss, when JJ Watt publicly exclaimed 'We're 0-4, something has to change" the owners took heed and fired the coach/GM O'Brien. (Rumor is that O'Brien went to owner Cal McNair and told him JJ Watt had to go and the owner said "not in my lifetime is JJ going anywhere")

Texans have won their division 4 times in the last 6 years but it's the weakest division in NFL and they have never gone any farther than the first round of the playoffs.
