Trying the best we can to keep the fight over there. Meanwhile nut jobs over here would like us American citizens to disarm ourselves.

Rockets still landing in our Iraq Embassy, but eh, we lost a basketball great, so squirrel!
Edit: Did we lose a plane in Afghanistan this morning? Early video says that we did, it was shot down by taliban, and it appears to be true? Ugh.
I am doing meaningless work today. Broke a cheap 3/16" cement bit trying to "save time" Friday afternoon. Moron that later...
I am epoxying a floor seem to save a homeowner/landlord a few thousand dollars. Heat gun and time. This is for free. I want their business. An original vinyl flooring from 1961. I enjoy stuff like this. Home has never been updated. Ever. Amazing to me being able to restore, repair, and renew workings of a time when men set nails by hand. Spent about 20 hours so far, and just wrapping up with a few extras. An easy job, but so very satisfying.
Oh yes, that whole bit thingie. I made two "S" shaped cement bits trying to get through a hole 1 3/4" deep. I own a quality hammer drill, but did not bring her with me. So, what are four little holes to cut with a cordless? I will tell what they are worth, they are worth an hour of time to wreck $16 in bits, and create sweat where sweat does not usually come from. I also need to return, a half hour trip one way, and finish work that will take all of 10 minutes.
Sometimes it is the little jobs that create the most happiness out of the all stress.
Fiero related: New tires. Brakes. Undercarriage wipe. Alignment in the next several days. Repair home brew LED 3rd brake light with new. Slight list of nit picks.
F150 related: Put almost 10,000 on the new engine. Like a kitten she is. I spent almost 1 year looking for an issue that kept it off the road. One year. Took her to a local mom and pop auto shop and they found that I had two vacuum lines switched near the throttle body! I had that wrong the entire time. Doh! Cost me dozens of hours of headaches, research, and time, but only a cool one hundred dollars and a surprise gift card for the shop of Papa Murphy's pizza. I will return to them if need be in the future.
On a side note, we have a great local Tire Rama. I often have tire issues. From repairs, to new, I have always gone to them. They get donuts and pizza, and I have not paid for a repair, mounting, or balancing ever. I purchase materials from them, but they treat me in kind. Also, they like that I clean my shat and take off weights before hand.
Just venting positive vibes. Carry on...

What was it the pundits and the media along with the opposition Democrats were saying, what about a month ago. Oh, no that stupid Trump is going to get us into a war in the Middle East. And gas prices are going to go sky high. Well, it went past a gas station today and it is $2.18 here in Mid-Michigan. Not exactly spiking is it? Maybe the Trumpster does know what he is doing compared to all the "experts" in the field of foreign policy.
