Here is a song that is completely outside my usual tastes, but I like it. It makes me feel good. The original video is amusing and is partially shot in an auto junkyard, which appeals to the old gearhead in me. At 1:23 there are a couple of old guys sitting on a pan and a shovel.
I came across this video this morning. It is a live version and includes what appears to be a vintage Gibson archtop. The guitar may well be older than me. edit: I looked it up. The Guitar is a Gibson L-50. I couldn't find the specific year, but they were made from the '30s through the '60s.
Here is a very pretty girl singing a song that was the #1 hit the week I was born:
