A friend said something interesting about Trump and Hilary today. (Page 1/3)

First off just so we are clear, I do not believe there is a single good presidential candidate running this go around on either side.

I did however find this interesting. I was speaking to a friend of mine the other day about our presidential options and he mentioned this...

"Hillary planted Trump in the race so she could win."

At first Im thinking wtf. Seriously? Thats some twilight zone bs right there.

Then I thought on it a bit more. It could happen.

You could probably say this for just about anyone on any side but as far as ruining the public image of republicans as a whole in this moment in time - Trump seems like a very good individual to mess things up for serious republican candidates.

My friend went on to tell me the Clintons and him actually have a friendly history together. I just think this is interesting to think about and thought I would share it with you all. It should make for a good conversation here at least

I managed to stay out of politics here for a long time but this is just to interesting for me to pass up. IDK, what do you all think about this?

There is a very strong possibility your friend is correct. I have subscribed to this theory from the beginning of the Trump Campaign.

Google: "clinton trump phone call"

I am not sure how friendly they are, but I believe they have a mutual interest.

It was kind of a odd moment for me coming to the realization that hey... wow that could actually maybe happen. If Hillary were someone I would vote for Id probably say wow - thats some shady BS I kind of support haha

But alas, the only person I somewhat care for doesn't have the lack of integrity needed to do such a thing

But Ive been wrong before.

A writer named Becker speculated in Salon recently that Trump really wants to lose.
Consider the source but it would explain much about Trump's recent behavior. http://www.salon.com/2016/0...ed_he_wants_to_lose/

I think Trump got into it as a "ego stunt" as he did in the past and then lo and behold it took off because many people (me included) are sick and tired of the current state of our government. It also appears that the more he attempts to self destruct he simple endears himself to more people (me not included) however, I think he would be smart enough to surround himself with a bright, world savvy staff that would really run the show unlike the alternative from the other party who I have no respect for.

I've been saying that all along.

This was pretty much speculated since the day he announced he was running.
I think regardless of intent, or if they planned it out, that's probably what will happen.

Yeah, I'm sure the GOP doesn't vett their candidates......

Such a horrible feeling knowing I have a right that's been fought for and defended so bravely by so many Americans and I can only use it to vote for at best mediocre candidates.
