All of Chris' threads for past toys and things made me want to do this. Lets see what diecast collectibles some of you guys have laying or hanging around the house. I'll start.......

I have a couple thousand Hot Wheels cars. Most are Blue Card (mainline) cars going back to early 90's. I also like to collect Johnny Lightning cars, and I have a couple thousand bucks into my collection of the Hot Wheels Classics series.

The Big Time Muscle cars have great detail, those are made by Maisto, right? Jada also makes some very nice diecast.

LoL I am flattered.

I have a few DeLorean diecasts around here some where (who would have guessed!) I still have them boxed so I will need to unpack them soon and take some photos.

Ive still got dozens of 1/18 scales. I did have hundreds, but sold off a lot of them on ebay. I take mine all out of boxes so they can be looked at and picked up. I hate the current generation of ones like Big Muscle and Dubbs with the big fake looking wheels. Stock looking ones are so hard to find now unless you pay $75, I just quit buying them. The best Ive got are Exoto, Hiway 61 and Pocher. The detail on all those are incredible. Ive got a Coronet like mine that even has carpet, rubber trunk mat, and a tool pouch in the trunk. The Pochers have working keyed door locks, suspension, seat belts, even down to the writing on oil filters. I have a Testa Rosa and a 911. The Porsche even has lug nuts on the wheels.

I agree on the newer ones sucking.

I have, well lets say a few 1:18 Scale cars. They are all packed up right now, and will come out when I get the shop done.

I like to keep the same size, unless it's Fiero, or Taxi related.

I wouldn't have thought that you had any mini-Deloreans sitting around.

This is why I don't buy any of the really nice ones. I'd love to have some of the muscle cars that I've run across, but I can't afford $75 a pop.

Pretty nice collection there, GM.

I've been collecting die-casts since I was about eight. It was hard a s a kid keeping cars in their packages, but I think I did a relatively good job.

Most of what I collected was racing cars. In a couple of the pics you can see some of the Nascar stuff, but that's maybe about two percent of the collection. Most of it is boxed away. I stopped collecting after Dale Earnhardt died so most of my stuff is from the 90's. I've sold a good deal of stuff, but still have enough pieces to fill numerous plastic tub boxes (there's about eight of them in storage).

Small bit of Nascar

Open wheel stuff

More Nascar. Mostly tobacco and alcohol sponsor cars

I've never really been into Hot Wheels. I'm really picky on them and only buy the ones that look like real cars. Here's some I picked up recently

AE86s

Initial D - my favorite pieces

The least they could do is supply stock wheels and tires with them. Id gladly pay an extra $5 to be able to throw away the ghetto wheels. Too bad stores only sell 1/25 scale aftermarket wheels and not 1/18.

Mostly what Ive kept are models of real cars Ive owned. Ive just about got every one I ever had.
