I have to agree. If someone disagrees they don't even counter. They wait til some time has passed and then start up as if the counter argument was never made. It does seem a waste of time to try and make points to folks who intentionally don't listen. Since I know their game, and know its objective, I won't change due to it. I'll continue being myself anyway.[This message has been edited by 2.5 (edited 05-11-2021).]

Yes, I do.
And I also know that some people have bigger opinions than others.

It wasn't just a "making fun" post. I posted a news report about--well, here:
"Lawyer Says Capitol Defendant Had ‘Foxmania’ From Watching Too Much Fox News"
| quote | | For roughly six months after he was laid off, Anthony Antonio was in a home where Fox News played constantly, his attorney told a court. |

I don't expect to change the minds of cvxjet or Rinse, but maybe someone reading will think about how their beliefs/ideas/propaganda are/is or will be a bad thing for their life and freedoms.
There are also people who won't engage except when it's a personal critique that has no other message. Those responses tell me the person was triggered, but he doesn't want to reveal his beliefs due to possible backlash or his beliefs were destroyed in the triggering message.

I'm aware in your opinion making fun was only part of it. But it is other point breaking that as I said, the false news was the mainstream diatribe that much of the public ate up, and is seemingly addicted to being spoon fed.

Gosh, remember the days when the only thing that 'triggered' a person was if someone laid a hand on you in anger?
What happened to 'Sicks and stones'?
Parenting skills are non-existent in some American families.

In the alter universe, if someone doesn't SHOUT down their ideas, someone might possibly actually believe them.
