Whenever I am at a show and I see someone selling diecast cars, I always ask if the have any of my three Pontiacs; '70 Grand Prix, '71 GTO or '86 Fiero GT. They never do. Then I ask to see their motorcycles. They never have anything I wont.
Has anyone ever seen any of those Pontiacs?
The only diecast car I have is a '69 Judge.[This message has been edited by williegoat (edited 03-03-2016).]

Contact the guys at www.supercar1.com They might be able to find a GTO you want. I don't see any 71's listed on their site right now, but that doesn't mean they're not out there.
They currently have a 70 and 72 GTO Judge in stock.

Sweet, I have the same black and gold one I plan to paint up like my car someday. Do you know where I can get wheels like these classic slots for it that would look like 15s (stock diameter)? I actually have bigger tires in back with more dish tho as well.

It was you who motivated me to get going on my Buick 1:18. Thanks for the tips! A few pics so far. My first 1:18 car I've ever modded. Its mild, pretty much gonna be paint inside and out, and wheels.

Ha ha......you're still further than I am, Jason. I can't stay focused on one long enough to finish it. I look at the cars that I have and ideas pop up of what I can do to one particular one.......then disaster strikes! I get it tore down and can't decide what wheels, paint, etc. I get more indecisive than a woman

On my black GSX I think for now I'll just strip the chrome on the bumpers/grille and paint them black too. Maybe I can at least get that done. Also cut out the grille and use screen mesh for a more detailed look.
Check out this site too. It has all sizes of resin and diecast that people mod. Lots of very cool stuff there to go through. I still haven't looked at all of it yet.

How do you strip the plastic chrome off plastic? Also, you could try plasti dip over the chrome for an easier job.
