Jake, when I consider the source, it matters not. Never really worried about single cell organisms. That's why we have vaccines.

They can't. You're almost to the point of my post. Just leave it where it sits. Destroying it would be ok.

No worries. Financing the future is easy when you know how.
"Assets Not Taxes: Flexible Financing Lessons from the New Deal to CARES [Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act]" Arnab Datta, Skanda Amarnath and Alex Williams for Employ America; August 18, 2021. https://employamerica.mediu...o-cares-5c2ff8288c38
Executive Summary:
| quote | In order for policy to operate on the scale necessary to fix our failing infrastructure and secure prosperity for American workers, we need to ask pointed questions about how best to finance these goals, given the present political and economic environment. Large conditional grants are subject to legal vulnerabilities and create unpalatable CBO scores. However, more creative approaches to financing investment in public assets and the private sector abound throughout American history. The New Deal, the CARES Act and other legislation have made use of government corporations, equity purchases and loan guarantees to generate durable and appreciating public assets. In the present political environment, we would do well to remember their examples.
While many of the existing proposals for both the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework and Reconciliation process fail to capitalize on these creative and efficacious methods, certain of them chart a clear path forward. The Industrial Finance Corporation, introduced by Senator Coons’ office, puts these novel financing capabilities front and center. |

Already done that. I've been told there is an abundance of lower life forms, I've never had the chance to study all of them. I think I'll pass this time.

I have a pile of Euros and Yen and Israeli shekels that must have been printed at the local Kinkos store then.
The fact is, that in terms of GDP to debt ratio, the United states isn't very far off from "break even". (a tad over 6%)
