It is my opinion that the 6' distance rule is just an attempt to do something,...anything simple to slow the spread of infection. That being said, my rule of thumb is distance equals safety AND if you can smell the person's breath or cologne, you are to close.

This is something I've witnessed in the past few weeks. Most of my friends, family, etc., are hard-core Democrats. Most of them are on the Bernie Sanders side of things, for that matter. I've heard this kind of rhetoric from many of them, talking (with glee) about how they hope Republicans are going to die from it, or how they hope President Trump and Pence get it... this kind of stuff. Really horrible stuff.

I've yet to see a single Republican say anything of the sort about Democrats. I spend at least an hour on Twitter, which I know I should not. My echo-chamber on Twitter is almost exclusively Republicans, and some hard-core Republicans. Not once have I seen anyone say... "I hope Maxine Waters gets COVID" or... "Don't worry, only Democrats will die... etc..."

I've come to learn over the years that most Democrats make their decisions purely on emotion. As such, I understand that you're comments are without basis, and you 're simply acting out. But you should consider what you say, and how it represents you as a person. Half the country is Republican, these are your friends, family, neighbors, etc. This isn't the kind of person you want to be.
