A bunch of people reading just entered it in a search engine and just learned something about how Indians view a Western super-villian.
I just learned they named ice cream after him. Really?! Ice Cream?

Of course you are correct that some people revere Hitler. They are all wrong.

Hey, they can be wrong. You were.
And they can name ice cream after him.

You can believe whatever you like.

Elvis is dead and Hitler was an evil man.

I can't even tell it to a poor little kid in Tennessee who is drinking Hitler Kool Aid.

A bunch?

Name 3 of them.
(I'm not one of them)

Well, admitting the problem is the first step they say.

You first. Still waiting for those names of Q-bits in your fiction.

And now, here were my thoughts on the subject stated in a thread from last year: http://www.fiero.nl/forum/F.../HTML/125546.html#p8

India's perspective on the NAZIs was somewhat different than that of the west, bent through the prism of British imperialism and focused by Subhas Chandra Bose (the anti Gandhi). Unfortunately, global politics are far too often driven by the old adage, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

In the 1940s in India, there were millions of moslems and only about 20,000 Jews. In the time since, the moslim population has grown to well over 100,000,000 while the Jewish population has dwindled to a few thousand.

And that was not the first time that I wrote here about India and the Nazis or Chandra Bose. So your erroneous suggestion that I was wrong is ill-informed. You are trying to appear educated, while repeatedly exposing your lack of knowledge.

Still more deflection? sigh*
Why would I care about some other thread?

I posted factually, which was acknowledge by another person, how Indians view a historical event.

Britain lost their empire by an action (WWII).
Britain lost World Reaerve Currency status decades later, but by the same actions of WWII which indebted them critically.

India was part of that lost empire. They didn't view Germany in the same perspective.

I'm bewildered how that has destroyed your ability to reasonably discuss.
