As a nod to Ray Otton, I used Capitalization to remark some words and phrases here as idiomatic, instead of using the enclosure within quotation marks practice, which Ray seems to particularly dislike. Some... but not all. [This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 11-28-2017).]

Faced with any online message that he wants to take issue with, or argue against, the FGC-er has never been content to stand on his arguments or criticisms, without simultaneously resorting to low and vulgar diatribes, culled from the pages of the Ad Hominem playbook of contentious dialogue.Click to show
He likes to take the "Low Road", even on such relatively anodyne and apolitical topics as a NASA scientist's "out of the box" idea about the Yellowstone Volcano, an Off Topic which I caused to appear fairly recently.
He either has no restraint, or has decided he's too "hot" of a commodity to have time for any of the norms of sensible online discussion. Norms that he apparently considers the hallmark of those "effete intellectuals" that once haunted the psyche of a U.S. Vice President, Spiro Agnew, who resigned a day after pleading No Contest to an indictment on Federal Income Tax Evasion.
I set up this Topic as an off-beat way of talking about the PaperRater online writing analyzer tool (which E.Furgal probably thinks I'm being paid to promote) and, at the same time, having another small jest with the Off Topic community, one of about 6,774 (to date.) A jest inspired by the Don't Name Them campaign.
It's been "fun."Click to show
