Flame wars past, present and future are all stupid and a total waste of time. I should know, I've been involved in enough of them myself over the years. However, I'd be lying if I said I didn't use to enjoy seeing Jeff putting Todd in his place. (Forum old-timers will know to whom I'm referring.)

Can't say I miss either but I will say that at least Jeff had an entertainment value that I appreciated.

Exactly... although I didn't quite enjoy his wit nearly as much when it was directed towards me.
[EDIT] Just for fun, I looked up the thread (from the year 2000!) that started my own tumultuous relationship at PFF with Jeff (stimpy). Believe me, it continued to go downhill from this point onward.

usenet was the real wild west board back in the day. alt.autos.fiero seemed almost mellow compared to some of the other groups I visited back then. Lots of raging fires going.

The "winner" hands down was stimpy's response to that comment by vinnywolfe, which was directed by Mr. Wolf towards a forum member named Lenny.

I suppose the list could go on infnitely because I wouldn't stick anything in my dogs ass.
I'm sure Mr. Wolf will adamantly go forth about the benefits of sticking things in the ass, it is a personal choice and one should not feel pressured to stick things in the ass, either their own or of their canine companion. I can merely relate the lack of success I personally have had with sticking things in my dogs ass. I may not have the knowledge and technique of Mr. Wolf (wow, stick Lenny up your dogs ass! and he's a pretty big fella. You must spend a LOT of time training your dog to accept large items rectally) but the best I've ever seen is suppositories at the vet.
Well, anyway, have a really Nice Day everybody!

Dunno, back in the '70's seems Champion's were the way to go. RJ-12Y's / -11Y's / -10Y's for a Pontiac V8. 'Course, I didn't own a dog back then and my cat was more than capable of f**king you up if you tried such a thing (he f**ked up a few of the local dogs). Swear the damn thing was part bobcat, was from the PA mtns. [This message has been edited by MarkS (edited 06-27-2024).]
