Now, that idea makes a whole lot more sense than blocking roads.

blm and antifa burned buildings, one building in particular had Police Officers in it at the time, blocking major Interstates of major Cities AND killing people,....... but you are worried about traffic congestion?? First world problems
| quote | I don't know who was behind the counter-protest strategy of using cyclists to block the trucks, but they deserve an award. |
|
What they deserve is a group of mostly peaceful truckers to kindly escort them aside so the trucks can go about their business. The bikes can become cobble stones. Then the truckers should get an award for road construction improvements.

It wasn't a man who committed the act, it was an SUV that struck the people that Canadian gov calls "terrorists". But I'm confused on who we're calling terrorists this week in our western democracies.

*Sorta* but not really
With our election system, there IS no vote for P-M.
You vote for a party in your own riding (a seat), and whichever party gets the most seats is the government, the leader of the *whoever* party is automatically P-M.
The PROBLEM is, seats are based on population density alone. SO, you end up with big-city-student-liberal areas getting say *20 seats* to vote on, while thinner population-density areas (like here) get 1, or 2 at most.
It's a case of heavily-liberal big cities in Ontario and Quebec are dictating to the entire country, excluding small town, the west and rural areas. Last election we had ONE seat for 3 counties (about 400,000 total population) while Toronto had 20 or something stupid (dont remember the exact number). The system is HEAVILY biased toward 5 or 6 major population centers who have issues people outside those areas simply dont and dont care about, and have no intention of dealing with.

Saw this in a Daily Stormer article. Ottawa city council woman Diane Deans said, “We can’t allow this kind of terrorism in our community to continue this way.”
She called the Freedom Convoy participants terrorists.[This message has been edited by sourmash (edited 02-06-2022).]

Yah, sure "terrorists"? America has been using this strategy for years, we just say "racists" in place of "terrorists". But hey, we use that word too..... we just don't use those words in actual cases of terrorism or racism, that would be "politically incorrect".

Would that negate their views?

In those cases it's usually "mostly peaceful protesters".
