(I'm not really "up" on what all happens when you have a new baby.) I tend to ignore the "new kid" posts because it makes me a bit depressed knowing I will never know this feeling myself. Some were difficult due to various heath issues, others due it "other" reasons. She is doing ok, but we need to be here the next 48 hours to make sure nothing happens to keep her there longer than she needs to be. We spent many lengthy stints at the NICU, but these next 48 hours are going to be the hardest because we are both so totally, utterly exhausted, both physically and mentally.
