What a joke.

Sue a shovel maker if someone hits ya over the head with it? Auto maker for when someone runs someone over? Sugar processors for fat people?

Politicians like this are messed up and crooked.

The Connecticut Supreme Court ruled Remington could be sued under state law over how it marketed the rifle, under an exception to the federal law.

Isn't it strange that after a bombing, everyone blames the bomber, his upbringing, his environment, his culture, his mental state but … after a shooting, the problem is the gun.........

The civil court case in Connecticut focused on how the firearm used by the Newtown shooter — a Bushmaster XM15-E2S rifle — was marketed, alleging it targeted younger, at-risk males in advertising and product placement in violent video games. In one of Remington’s ads, it features the rifle against a plain backdrop and the phrase: “Consider Your Man Card Reissued.”

Expensive words.

I wonder how much of a parallel currently exists, in so far as what is permissible in terms of retail advertising, for the Firearms trade, as compared to the limits that have been imposed on how Alcohol and Tobacco products are advertised? Are there any restrictions on the retail advertising of Firearms, other than what the Firearms manufacturers and retailers voluntarily impose upon themselves?

"Whobody knows?"
