I retired from tattooing this year. I figured 23 years is long enough to do anything, and I had lost most , if not all , love for the biz. I've only been semi active for a few years, sold my building and got out of the street shop scene. I have supplies that are expiring in November and I intend not to re-up. I served my time.
I've been working as an industrial photographer for a friend who is a parts reseller. I take pictures of new and used parts we list in online auctions. I also wrench on the company cars and trucks, just today I was working on a hydraulic lift gate on our box truck. The boss boogered it up, and frankly I'm running out of parts to replace.
Other than that just been traveling. My Fiero still running strong, now has 75k miles on it and needs a paint job but they're going to bury me in that car.

I did not realise Ted. I'm without ink, but if ever I was, I had planned to look to you. I always wanted mine to be absurd. A calf on my calf. You know the kind with a septum ring. All smiley. A bullseye tramp stamp. My family has put our sons name on an arm, I'm not the first of my namesake. An onimontipea circling my GSW with BANG! Mayor Adam West Batman style. I've been told it healed proper from everyone thinking I'd never even walk again. Even though I walked into the hospital a full day later.
Gay giving up your land. I unfortunately and can discuss (privately) had to do the same. I have few landman inn my pocket, not sure what help though.

I would have dug in some steel poles then make some perfect turf for the lure a burn out write off. [This message has been edited by Australian (edited 08-19-2021).]

Most days I see nobody, but it depends on location. I have a bit of self defense training (jujutsu) and plenty of weapons with me in case someone gets crazy....which, honestly, can happen anywhere. I've never had problems boondocking and camping *knocks on wood* and very rarely feel unsafe..and when I do, I move on.
Boondocking sites are more popular than ever, everyone I run into seem pretty "normal" .. no junkies or carnies that I know of 😂 |

I was curious what it's like behavior climatewise. Might be a something I'd investigate doing.
Most carnies I've encountered were fine. Lots of drinking. Their women are frequently looking for a better deal. Some meth heads won't steal from you. They'll steal from people they don't know.
