One that brings a tear to my eyes was a 70s movie called Ice Castles. Its about a figure skater (Lynn Holly Johnson) who falls and is permanently blinded, but her boyfriend and a rink owner help her learn a performance she does blind. She thought her career was ended, but she followed thru to standing ovations. Make sure you watch the 2nd part in the link too.

The alto sax player takes the lead and "lights it up" about halfway into the track. One of this band's elder statesmen.

I'd heard it before, many times, but now I know the name of this tune. "Àguas de Março"... or "Waters of March."
