The narrative that the Capitol protest was a “deadly insurrection” is falling apart (Page 47/110)

Anybody read anything of their stated positions or opinions on the rally?

I think it is unfair to assume that any suicide is related to the Jan6 trespassing. People do this stuff for lots of reasons.
That of course IF the report is true or accurate.
Our human nature causes us to ask "why?" And this is perfectly fine because it may help others get out of a potential suicidal mindset.
I am interested in hearing opinions of why Capitol Police might be suicidal? What would make a person in this job so depressed?
Lots of jobs have very high stress, what is it about this one sets it apart?
Again, I do not assume the Jan6 had anything to do with it,......but I can't honestly rule it out.

People commit suicide for a wide variety of reasons.

Personal or family health issues. Financial issues. Mental health issues. Marriage or relationship issues....You name it...

It's unwise to assume that any of the 4 alleged suicides had any causation in common.

We can hope that the House January 6 Hearings... Anecdotal Storytelling and Leftist Political Muckraking Sessions...don't stoop so low as to drag the grieving family members of the deceased officers in, put them in the media spotlight and USE THEM as political props, but given the past habit of LEFTISTS shamelessly doing exactly that it's probably a given that they will.

We can also be 100% CERTAIN that attorneys for the deceased officers union , or private attorneys, WILL attempt to somehow link their suicides to the January 6 riot in an effort to get government monetary benefits for their estates. I will hazard a guess that their first claim will be "PTSD", (a claim that will require a confirming prior diagnosis).

I agree with what you said Randye. But I just can't understand why Jan6 protests would be to blame for a suicide while antifa blm riots haven't? People actually got hurt and died at blm antifa riots. Look at Portland where antifa blm attempted to burn down the building WITH POLICE IN IT. No reports of suicide.
The Jan6 protest did not target Capital Police to kill them like antifa blm. The Police Officers across the Country had to deal with hours and days of hate filled threats and racist screaming at them. The Capital Police did not endure ANYTHING like what other Officers dealt with at blm antifa riots.

The renaming of Cleveland's Major League Baseball franchise means that the "Tribe" (Cleveland Indians) is being relegated to time past, but there's another "Tribe" that's not ready to become history.

That would be Harvard Law School professor emeritus Laurence Tribe, who specializes in Constitutional Law.

A week ago Thursday, the "Tribe'ster" went on Zoom to chew the fat with MSNBC anchor Lawrence O'Donnell.

It was a five minute conversation that examined the relevance of the so-called "Ku Klux Klan Act" of 1871, before putting the 45th President's patented "I dindu nuffin" defense under a legal microscope.

"We Are Witnessing The Unraveling Of The Cover-Up’Of January 6th"

Constitutional law professor Laurence Tribe joins Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss the ongoing DOJ investigations into January 6th and why he believes “executive privilege won’t be available” to Donald Trump in many of the cases.

It isn't hard to find experts with opposing view points, so no surprise they only found a one sided "expert".
Given your source who is extremely bias, I am.just going to say that even the highest court in the land has Justices that disagree vehemently with each other over many topics. If we were to just listen to one of them we would not get the entire picture. Your sources clearly don't find experts to debate, because they don't have an interest in informative thoughts. They have an interest in money and propaganda.
Yes, I did notice you never post experts who debate. You argue through people who only argue one side, as if they are afraid to debate the opposite side.
For as many people who think blm antifa are wrong, there are "experts" who argue in favor of their violence, rioting and even looting. This is unimaginable, that politicians and lawyers defend rioting, looting and violence from antifa blm and then turn all of the blame on Jan6 as if it were December 7th 1941.
Two side to every coin. Just because you post an opinion from an "expert" does not mean that is the be all end all.

"We Are Witnessing The Unraveling Of The Cover-Up’Of January 6th"

The sentence is enclosed within quotation marks, to signify to readers (like Rick) that those are not my own words.

I wouldn't have gone that far, myself, in terms of describing the situation.

In the days between that conversation and today, Trump himself has said that he will not argue "executive privilege" if members of his administration are asked to testify before the House committee that's been set up to examine the events of January 6.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Has it EVER ONCE occurred to you that the stupid things you believe are probably due to the stupid people you rely on for your "news and opinions"?

First it was Annie Applebaum, then Ed Kilgore, THEN you tried David Frum

Now it's:

Your "esteemed professor emeritus" IS A LEFTIST TOOL

AND AS IF ALL THAT DIDN'T ESTABLISH LARRY'S "LEFTY STREET CRED"
HE ALSO HAS BIDEN'S HABIT OF STEALING OTHER PEOPLE'S WORDS
