As do I. Stnson Municipal Airport. The first airport of San Antonio. Which has a history of military involvement. The Air Force took it over during WW II. The San Antonio Police Department has it's helicopter base there. Today it features an aviation museum. My Grandson was taken there often to watch the planes take off and land. Sadly, he is buried at a cemetery closest to the main runway runway in the flight takeoff landing path. Almost at the end of the runway.
I fly my drone anyway. At no more than five feet.[This message has been edited by cliffw (edited 02-01-2025).]

Want more than a short two or three minute AI video? Try this!
Yes, it's bizarre... but why not!
| quote | From the video description at YouTube:
Step into a retro-futuristic universe where the 1960s dreams of space exploration come alive!
This AI art video takes inspiration from many classic and cult sci-fi movies and shows that I’ve watched like The Jetsons, Rick & Morty, Solar Opposites, Futurama, Star Trek, Fantastic Planet, Solaris, Flash Gordon, Forbidden Planet, Interstellar, Mars Attack and many others...
The first 35min are heavily edited to follow the rythm of the music and the rest of the video is featuring Randomized Unedited clips.
From the gleaming chrome rockets to the cosmic landscapes, it’s pure retro-future nostalgia—think “the future as imagined by the past.”
Across this trip, you’ll explore a wild variety of alien worlds—some where gigantic burger monsters roam the plains (and yes, you can ride them and grab a bite), others inhabited by clever reptilian aliens with telekinetic powers that’ll literally blow your mind. You’ll drift through planets knitted from yarn and fabric, where even the dinosaurs are made of wool, and stumble upon cosmic party worlds where every day is a celebration and the locals are as bizarre as they are friendly. Every stop on this space road trip is a new surprise, filled with the kind of surreal creativity only the retro-future could dream up.
This one was animated with the brand new Midjourney Video 1 model! Which was released a few days ago, and while it’s not the only top-tier option out there (I’m also using Minimax 2.0, Kling, and Runway), it stands out for being way less expensive than most, with surprisingly dynamic and natural animation.
For this hour-long journey, I mixed it up with all kinds of music genres that just feel right for space exploration. You’ll hear everything from dreamy Jazz (a personal favorite) to pulsing Electro, shiny Disco, Rockabilly and even a touch of Funk—whatever captured that sense of cosmic wonder or made me feel like I was in an interplanetary adventure.

If only we had a few movies and books that foretell how this ends. One issue will be once it starts replacing human job's it will bankrupt the s.s. retirement fund even faster. I doubt the computers robots will be paying income taxes.[This message has been edited by 1987RedFiero (edited 06-28-2025).]
