Looks pretty neat. I need to look into it more. May want to get something that is good with ABS as well.

looks good!

I like to wait until the hot end cools down before I power it off.

Benchy is a great test print.

Have a good night!

Did it come with a spool holder?

Yes, but I will probably work up something more substantial.

I kind of like the idea of something like this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2185015
They even have printable bearings.

It also came with a removable, flexible magnetic bed.

Oh snap

I didn’t realize this was the Sculpto2 (the “deluxe” model!)

Eventually, you can slap a new bed covering on the flex plate (and re-level the Z axis)

That’s neat-o

Huh and I think you can print to it via a computer (web browser)

https://app.sculpto.dk/#!/login

(Well, until that server goes away, at least)

This page explains a bunch of stuff:

I’d you print a benchy (boat) choose NO Supports.

Not too shabby, and that’s with the filament that came with it.

The included spool holder seems to do the job, I just added a piece of PVC pipe to the spindle to insure that the spool rolls smoothly. The only thing I added was a 1kg spool of PLA.

I am printing the open lid now.

Well, it got half way through and stopped squirting out filament. I am letting it cool down so I can figure out what happened.
