You know, you know, Elvis had an early Sportster KH.

A KH is not a Sportster. It is a flathead. The "Ironhead" replaced the K model in '57.

Yep !
You're right.
' Before the OHV Sportster, there was the side valve, true. ' '52 K

Before there was rock, there was country.

Most everyone has heard of the Isleys, but I'm not sure that everyone knows that Ernie is a hell of a shredder. (I didn't.)
I had to go out and buy the album, after seeing this very performance, on Letterman.

If you've never seen it the documentary It Might Get Loud is great

I have to admit that I'm not 100% positive what the term "shredder" means in regards to a guitar player... but the way Ernie plays guitar in the 1973 song below has always blown me away., No doubt he was heavily influenced by Hendrix. It's great!
For those of you who are impatient , the solo begins at 2:11 (The video and audio were obviously recorded at different times, but IMO this is the best sounding version of the song on YouTube.)

' You better listen, anybody
'Cause I'm gonna make it clear
That my life is unimportant
What I've done I did through fear
There's a river running through me
On its tide I tried to hide
Nonetheless I could not shake it
And in the end, it swept aside

All my feeble unimportance
I can't say it, never mind
Can't you hear me, mother, calling you?
I'm cold, I'm deaf, I'm blind
And if only 'cause you're lucky
We both know that's no find
I did think I'd be an actor
What I am I'll leave behind

You better listen, anybody
'Cause it's me and you, that's it
And in case you find your Maker
Perhaps you'll plead for us a bit
All my sick is in my stomach
All my sweat is clearly fear
And if you could see inside me
I don't think you'd have me here

Tell the helmsman, "Veer to starboard"
Bring this ship around to port
And if the sea was not so salty
I could sink instead of walk
And in case of passing strangers
Who are standing where I fell
Tell the truth, you never knew me
And in truth it's just as well '

The reason I really was into Queen was because of Brian may, the guitarist....among other things, he used an echo box to create layering of guitar on stage...Finally, on the third album (Shear Heart Attack) the on-stage echo box jam was incorporated in a song; "Brighton Rock"

The best version of this song was on the live album, Queen Live Killers....(there is a bit of a Timpani drum jam by Roger Taylor in it also)

The first time I saw this band on YouTube, I didn't believe they were real. I thought it was an act. It took me a couple of days of watching and listening to figure out that they are indeed real.
That was the middle of 2019 and here is the thread: Why has no one informed me of this?

Well, they are still going strong. Here is an instrumental from just a few days ago.
