Appreciate that. Age was his only co-morbidity according to his wife. Both he and his wife were very active members of our Valkyrie Club. His biggest fault was his stubbornness about COVID, he waited too long to go see the doc and COVID did it's damage. Had he survived, he would have needed a lung and kidney transplant according to what I was told. Blood clotting was a huge part of his demise. One of those guys who refused to, well you know what he refused. His widow is now trying to sell his possessions to bulld a nest egg for her future. I considered trying to buy one of his Valkyries, but the truth is, it would stretch my own budget and I don't have room for another one anyway. But thanks.

I'm sorry to hear that Rams...

sorry for your loss Ron.

My oldest sis is in the hospital now, for the 5th day. Started as a sudden UTI, with high white cell count. (covid was ruled out) but she has a lot of pain all thru her abdomen and back. She has put lymphoma into remission twice already, was fearful that it was back or had transitioned to leukemia but they have done a biopsy of her back and all the cancer docs say it wouldn't present like what she has. (She has had back problems for years) Husband died about 4 years ago and she lives alone on 40 acres.
I think they will eventually get the pain managed but the question is whether she will ever be able to return home on her own.

That happens a lot more than people may realize. Hospitals won't release someone that can't care for themselves, and will place them in assisted living somewhere.

A week ago, she was coming and going, driving herself all over, working in her yard, and now there is a potential that she may never see her place again.
She's 80.

Thanks and I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
