It's not a question. It's a statement. There wont be enough to pay me the full amount according to the adjuster. His ins also wont state his limit citing some privacy law or clause.
According to the adj who looked at my car his vehicle is included in whatever the limit is.

That's some pretty shitty insurance, sounds more like his insurance is setting you up to take a smaller claim. I know you said you had limited insurance of your own but you should contact them anyway.

They're definitely looking to minimize they're exposure, but the prop damage values should be set.
The accident damage includes his 2016 Soul, damage to both front sides, 2011 Highlander rear-ended and flipped 1997 S10 rear corner bed damage. My vehicle has $8800 on it.
I'm wondering how dipping into my underinsured policy (it will be my policy) might effect my rates.

I wish you well with this, its a cluster ****. I have never heard of any insurance that totals all loss from the same pool. I have coverage for the other guy and then coverage for myself. They are not the same bucket. End of the day its his responsibility to make you whole and as this is not a small amount you should have a lawyer draw up something. They probably have a template already and just have to plug in your information.

So now GEICO has capitulated and will cover the vehicle loss completely, according to a call I just received. The caller stated that GEICO had internally reversed a decision to cover something or other and the claim was closed.
Let me tell you GEICO claims is pretty terrible in behavior. One is the most uppity and mouthy you could encounter. Her supervisor referred to her has Tequila mistakenly, which begs the question about office and personal relationships. Their supervisor spoke quite clearly and was helpful. His new contact at GEICO presented for me was as well, but things stalled. A 3rd or 4th call to her finally resulted in a new adjuster that has apparently processed the procedure for full payout.
We'll see. I'm not all that hopeful. But the process is supposed to complete next week for PROPERTY DAMAGE only.

Were there medical bills? If so they will try to hold up the payment for damages until you settle the medical bills. Good luck, hope it works out.

There are medical bills. They've accepted medical liability for everything incurred to this point.

That's good, just don't sign a release until you are sure you are taken care of.

And, get some decent insurance for yourself, it never pays to go cheap.

Just stop trying to instigate another argument already. My insurance is proper for the vehicle which is why I'm going to collect fully.
