If I saw that out my window, I'd be making this post from Mexico.
(Not the Blazer, that's cool, but I cannot handle all of that white stuff.)

I don't mind it to much when I don't have to drive in it.

But, this wasn't even enough to get the 3 wheeler out and ride in. Still too soggy underneath too.

I remember liking to play in the snow.

I don't remember why.

But, I do know I no longer want to play in the snow and I do remember why.

To each their own. Have fun and be safe.

I have no doubt, just not something I want to do. Enjoy it.

8 degrees overnight. How is it on the north side of the St. Lawrence, MEM?
blackrams JAN 07, 06:30 PM
North of KCKS currently, single digits.
I'll just say this, this (now) southern acclimated guy is a bit chilled.

How long do you recon it would take for me to acclimate to 90 degrees and 90% humidity without feeling like I'm about to collapse? One thing I've figured out is that you can only take so many clothes off, but you can always put more on.

However, 1* and a -7 wind chill this AM is a tad cool. Tends to solidify stuff in the nostrils.

Marc,
People are different. I've lived quite a few places on this rock. Had to adapt to each one. Hated the desert during the summers, hated living next to Lake Erie in the winter. Loved Colorado most of the time, same with Kentucky but hate being too close to a beach. To my knowledge and belief, there is no perfect place on this planet but, there are acceptable compromises. I believe I may have found what's acceptable to me. YMMV.
This I know, I'll never move back to snow country.
