A tune you may not have heard (Page 37/42)

Golden Highway has evolved into something special. Bronwyn really shines throughout this video, but she and Molly are mesmerizing from about 2:30 for the next four minutes.

And Shelby Means is still the sexiest bass player that ever lived.

She is the real thing, and my second favorite banjo player.

What a clever title! I am so glad to see steel making a comeback. For decades, it seems that no one even knew what it was.

I really enjoyed that !
There was this band, wayback, far to the North, Kirkland Lake, the gold mining town,
the house band for the winter of '73 at the Kirkland Hotel.
The steel guitar man was from St. Catharines, probably the best I've ever heard, ever like, so impressed me then.
Just had a brain-lock tho, can't recall the name of their band, tho I should, they were good, real good.
-38C, a mean wind blowing down the hilly winding Government Rd.
Many a warm evening in the arms of my sweetie dancing to a c-w waltz, we had fun.
Just traveled there again by g-map, minutes ago, it's changed, looks like they spent a few hundred million on re-grading the main drag,
smoothed it out, probably installed new sewers and water mains, modern like.

I haven't seen a steel guitar in a bar band in over 40 years. As a matter of fact, I haven' t seen a pedal steel in real life at all (except mine) since the last century.

Here's something for you to explore:

If you instantly recognized the suit in the front, what she is siting in and understand the title of the next song, you are in.

Kee to Bala
You all should so come up to catch their act at the Kee, the Fall in Muskoka is a good trip, real colorful like.

You'll need a jacket, a toque and an umbrella, raincoat, mittens, boots, it's mid October in the boonies, you may feel a frost at night.

I only started listening to this girl a few days ago, but she might just be going somewhere.

She reminds me of someone I knew many years ago.
