You have, presumably, been a member here long enough, (15 years), to know what the ratings bar is and how it works, however in the event that your question Is not sarcastic I'll oblige you with an explanation from the forum owner:

So to make this simple and unbiased, the translation is that they trespassed.
rinselberg JUL 21, 11:54 AM
Well Rick, I can only offer you the possibility of agreeing to disagree.

Calling it "trespassing" is like calling what happened to Hiroshima an "atmospheric disturbance."

"January 6, The Movie"
https://nyti.ms/2UUXgu0

It's 40 minutes but it's fast-paced, with visual aids like overlays and pointers to augment the raw video footage. And you don't need an online subscription.

If anyone were to opt in, they could just look at how it starts--but odds are, they won't be able to stop until they've reached the end.

It's "gripping."

To get the sound, there's an unmute step involving a loudspeaker icon near the lower right corner. For smartphone users, a finger touch to reveal or access the loudspeaker icon and unmute the sound.

We can agree to disagree, but using hyper unrealistic words and analogies is only distracting from what really happened. How much damage was caused by the trespassers? How many people did they kill?
You can start by using the charges that they are officially charged with. Like Randye says, none of them are charged with attempts to take over the Government or harm any individuals.
A nuclear bomb has killed many people, government takeovers have lead to the deaths of many more people. The trespassing did not kill any one, in fact the Government are the only ones that killed a person. So maybe you are implying that the Capital Police are the nuclear bomb and the trespassers are a mostly peaceful atmospheric disturbance.

The judicial proceedings will stretch from now, into 2023. I already reported on that, closer to the top of this page.

There was a conspiracy by a relatively small number of people who planned to force their way inside the Capitol Building, and they were working on it for weeks in advance of the Stop The Steal rally in front of the White House on January 6, which turned into the Capitol Building invasion.

Their objective from the very start was to interfere with the Congressional proceedings that were expected to certify the election of Joe Biden as the next President.

They weren't planning a peaceful demonstration.

The conspirators knew that if they took the lead in forcing their way past the police and into the Capitol Building, a much larger number of people would follow closely behind them--the hundreds of mere "trespassers"--and that the combined large number of people would create an impossible situation for the police.

Did the conspirators already know, even before they arrived in the District of Columbia, or before they moved on the Capitol Building during the afternoon of January 6, that the police readiness that they were going up against was completely inadequate for the situation?

That's how I'm thinking about it. I don't know of any credible reporting that would lead me to a different "take" on what happened.

The idea that the Democrats are just playing this up as a way to undermine or undercut the memories of the "George Floyd summer of 2020" of Black Lives Matter, antifa, riots, violence, arson, killings (etc.) across the nation--well, I'm not going to say what I think of that idea.

I may continue to check in here with new reports as more defendants are charged or as more cases move through the courts.

Especially if the reports have some "color" to them, like the one (it's on another thread) about the defendant with plans for a "Liberty Tavern" branded political podcast and line of cigars.

Only because they want to use the January trespassing as a political tool. And tools will fall for it. IF there were any Justice here the same standard used on antifa and blm would be used,...guess what. The white Trumpers are the ones to go after because politics NOT justice.

Ok, so this is EXACTLY what I was talking about, hyper overblown exaggerated words. "Invasion" really? It was trespassing.
Conspiracy? That isn't a big deal, 2 or more people plankton do something stupid, like trespassing.

According to you, ....can you read minds or prove that claim in court?
Aside from the obvious political persecution of "Trumpers" the case against the trespassers is proving to be much more difficult than the democrats first thought.

I can agree that a very small group of idiots lead lemmings just like the dems that impeached Trump on bogus garbage. Those charges would not even hold up in court.

I don't know. I bet you don't either

Given the sorceress you reference, I would agree with your statement.
The courts will hash it out and most likely the appeals process will be used as well. That will be all you need, no need for biased media to tell people what to think or chew the food for those to lazy to do it for themselves.

Trespassing?

Caleb Berry has just pled guilty to a criminal indictment charging him with one count of conspiracy and one count of obstruction of an official proceeding. He faces a statutory maximum of five years in prison on the conspiracy charge and up to 20 years on the obstruction charge, as well as a period of supervised release.

As a cooperating witness, he's not going to be sentenced to anything close to 20 years of imprisonment.

But what about other people who may be charged with conspiracy and obstruction, based on this defendant's testimony as a cooperating witness?

I'm getting a "vibe" from this forum, of an impatience to box this up and put a label on it, when it's still very much a work in progress.
