Two Fieros Kept... yet another car acquired... ugh. (Page 3/3) 82-T/A [At Work] APR 25, 07:55 AM Rafe, yeah... wife is not thrilled... but she's OK with it, as long as I promise to buy her a late 60s Volvo P1800 in the next 3 years... which means I'll have to get rid of the Corvette or the Solstice. Ah yes, regardless of the brand or model, buying an older car always means buying someone else's issues they didn't want to fix. Rams From what I can kind of tell... it seems to me like the previous owner had upgraded the car... some of which he did, some of which a shop did (the intercooler is definitely not stock, it looks nothing like the aftermarket or factory ones out there)... and then he got into a small crash (no frame damage, just misaligned front bumper and some brackets) and then he traded it in at like CarMax or something, where it ended up at auction... and then I got it from that guy. But man, even with a friggin' hole in the intercooler... the thing is ridiculously quick. It also doesn't look like the oil filter has ever been changed... it was really dirty. No metal or anything in it... it just seems like it's been in there forever.
