Another vote for permanent DST.
I hate when it gets dark at supper time. Makes me cranky (even crankier?) all winter.

Why all the cry babies ?

I used to go from working an all night 12 hour shift to working a 12 hour daylight shift. .

When I go to Florida I lose an hour of time, sort of. Days are still 24 hours. I like maryjane, use a body clock. Like all animals.

Whoa are those with jet lag.

Most of us have that internal clock, I wake early every morning whether I want to or not. Being retired, it doesn't matter in most cases what time the clock is showing. The bigger issue is our government taking another step in controlling our lives. That pisses me off. It's the little things that count as we gradually go WOKE.

I've just got one thing to say.

In previous years, others have posted a graphic of a calendar / time line, that shows relative daylight vs darkness, and what time it happens, each day.
Does anyone still have that? I keep saving it, and then I can't find it.

Is this what you're looking for?

Thanks for that! It's very close, except the one I'm looking for has a graphic, with a time line.

The incidence of accidents involving pedestrians goes up in the week following the time change every year. Drivers are simultaneously impaired by both lighting conditions and sleep deprivation.

I kinda prefer ST, seems my body clock is stuck on it. I hate waking up 1 hour too early during DST. One reason for ST I've read in the past is because the kiddies head to school in the dark during the winter in DST (this was in 73 when it was done because of the oil embargo ).

Sleep deprivation, ?

Are there statistics which show an extra hour of sleep decreases accidents ?
