Hey there is a name I have not seen in a long time.
Glad to see you are still up and around.

I have been looking at bikes but damn it so crazy out here I wouldn't trust riding one on any of CA freeways.

Jake... question. What are the laws in CA regarding pre-1975 vehicles? In most states, when the vehicle doesn't even have a catalytic converter, then it doesn't really matter what's in the car, they're essentially exempt. Does CA still do an inspection to make sure the car has the original engine? Or are ~74 cars getting hard to find over there? They didn't even do emissions checks for those cars back then, so I'm not sure that they would even know what normal looks like.

You could conceivably buy something from that era, and just rebuild the engine into something insane... and then fuel inject it with one of those FAST or Holley Commander systems. You'd get serious horsepower with modern characteristics.
