Paving is or near done.
Have to add new signage etc for 3 squeeze lanes, 11 feet each, and will stay as Construction Zone w/ 45MPH likely for several years. Note: I think PA has Double Fines for speeding etc in Construction Zones.
Need to paint lines so they asked Pocono Raceway to have their Jet Truck track drier to dry the road so whatever paint stick right. That and Pocono Car is parked so everyone sees...
New camera is temp unit on the shoulder. (Same used in 3rd pic above.) Is near the permanent one that was/is off for video feed.

I'm happy to see this. I know the locals are even more so.
One of the vendors (in the article) said that their business was only screwed for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure how that works, since it has been almost a year. I guess they did some of the shutdowns in stages. But I haven't followed the process.
Still... Good show!

Biggest traffic problem was before filled the gap to get 3 narrow lanes open fast. But still cause high street traffic because off ramp stayed closed & more reasons. More so in "rush hour" traffic in morning & evening.
Just have that ramp closed mean all users must find a another route mean some with stay on streets parallel to I95 stuffing traffic to a crawl on those.
Narrow lanes have speed restrictions & even w/o that limits traffic thru that section that often cause people to use normal streets. Think Normally has 4 lane so just reduce 3 narrows is a problem.
This problem happens almost any project on Ixxx & other limited access roads thru any city. Example: "just south" of the bridge fail is another I95 project been causing similar traffic problems for way longer & not stopping soon in Wilmington DE. Partly because one section crosses Amtrak tracks & RR all fight most Road problems & fixing same. So even if you use I495 the exit roads can get stuffed, worse when those roads are under construction, etc. @ same time.
Just below that, I95 is getting new ramps for 896 that causes traffic problems too.
That ignoring complete closing of I95 in Philly for days for Demo work for the "Cap Project" building new park costing Millions of $... Likely more closing/restrictions are coming soon just for this.
