Oh, we'll get by I'm sure Radar. Thanks tho. I have a vintage radio I might look into getting going. Needs an amplifier tube.
I have a picture of it.

I only use the radio once a year now to listen to 'Alice's Restaurant' on Thanksgiving. The rest of the time now it's just sports betting ads, and a few songs the recording industry is desperately trying and failing to make popular.

I have a couple Panasonic flip clock radios from the 70's that still work after a few minor repairs, and a Sony ST-S730 ES for the main stereo.

This is the closest to full time radio I listen to but it can eat up some data.

Internet radio is pretty amazing (so much to choose from world-wide)... but yeah, having it running all day could use up a fair amount of data.

On my am/fm clock radio..
Other than I'm acting in some way as an antenna, what does it mean if the station comes in better/clearer/louder if I reach over and place my hand on it?
Am I right in understanding that the little wire hanging out the back is just for AM and the fm antenna is probably a bar antenna located inside the plastic case?
