Long COVID (Page 3/4)
blackrams FEB 13, 07:02 AM
Lost a good friend yesterday. Had severe COVID a while back, COVID was gone but, he never got out of the hospital due to the damage it caused.
His passing wasn't a shock but, still hard to accept.

A "bit" long ?

Lingering ailments ?

Are we talking about govt arrogance about power in the name of "declared emergency" ? About the Big Tech's power to decide misinformation ?

Ron, what was your thread title for your thread informing us that you early on volunteered for Covid vaccine studies ?

Cliff,
That's too far back for me to remember.
You sure you're not thinking of Viagra?

I gotta say, when I got sick with what I still believe was Covid (no tests back then unless you went into the hospital here.), I was seriously worn out for months after. I'd just want to sleep all the time.

Other friends said similar stuff happened to them as the article, including the breathing problems.

I'm like that but I got an excuse.
I'm old. I got great grandchildren.

I got a temporary cure tho.

Interesting. When I worked as a coffee roasterman decades ago, Robusta coffee beans were looked upon (by coffee connoisseurs) as a cheap low quality "filler" in coffee. The better blends would promote the fact that only Arabica coffee beans were used. Robusta beans were known for being low in flavor and very high in caffeine... which I guess is why that coffee you have is called Nuclear.

Appreciate that. Age was his only co-morbidity according to his wife. Both he and his wife were very active members of our Valkyrie Club. His biggest fault was his stubbornness about COVID, he waited too long to go see the doc and COVID did it's damage. Had he survived, he would have needed a lung and kidney transplant according to what I was told. Blood clotting was a huge part of his demise. One of those guys who refused to, well you know what he refused. His widow is now trying to sell his possessions to bulld a nest egg for her future. I considered trying to buy one of his Valkyries, but the truth is, it would stretch my own budget and I don't have room for another one anyway. But thanks.
