Truckers: NOW things start to get interesting (Page 3/26)

Something seems way off here.

I really don't understand what is going on. Why is the Trucker Protest all of a sudden a dangerous riot by law enforcement standards and your Prime Minister says that all these Truckers and Farmers who are protesting are all a bunch of racists?

Am I in an alternative universe?

The news media reported seeing a Confederate flag as well as a Nazi (?) banner (people think Trudeau is a dictator) in the crowd last weekend.
Maybe even a "Trump 2024" placard. Not sure how many thousands of hours of video they went through to find them.

They aren't used to being stood up to.

Canadian "protests" are usually small, short-lived and non-confrontational with most of us just quietly ignoring the problem "laws/rules/mandates" and doing as we please anyway. We let them have their illusion of power and control (in reality they have very-very little).

This "Cold civil war" strips away that illusion and forces them to realize how powerless they really are, and how many of US have been simply ignoring them all this time.

As the being "racists/misogynists/extremist/terrorist/bunch-of-other-ists"....Well, YEAH !. Dontchya know that applies to ANYBODY that disagrees with or opposes a lib ???

That also automatically pops up anytime someone isn't condemning Trump.

That's how I felt this morning when a bunch of large trucks came down my street on their way to a gathering in downtown Vancouver... and the first truck I saw was flying an American flag. Only convinces me more that there are outside influences in place.

This would explain why all the trucks were coming down my street this morning. They were trying to find an alternate route downtown to avoid the counter-protesters. I think they underestimated how fast the bikes could get from place to place.

ONLY because the truckers let them.

It's kind of like letting a 6-year-old win at wrestling and giving them a trophy.

They feel good about it, but are JUST too dumb and not mature enough to realize the truth.

I've been watching for any names or logos. I'm pretty sure it's almost totally independent truckers. I can't imagine Walmart, Schneider, UPS, FedEx, JB Hunt or any of the other major trucking companies allowing their trucks to be involved and not delivering goods/products. Their drivers may agree with the protest but, I'd bet parking any corporate truck would involve a very quick termination. I mentioned those trucking companies just off the top of my head, their are probably others that I am not aware of in Canada.
