In Jamaican Patois, batty boy (also batty bwoy, batty man, and chi chi bwoy/man) is a slang expression often used to refer to a homosexual or effeminate male.
The term batiman (or bIattyman) is also used in Belize owing to the popularity of Jamaican music there.

I'v never wondered, nor cared what the sexuality of any super hero was.. Can't really figure out why it matters. But i guess its similar to wanting super heroes of different races. People out there just want to have a hero that is similar to "them".. [This message has been edited by Jonesy (edited 08-14-2021).]

I think it's pretty obvious that they're basically all gay... I don't know anyone that dresses up in tights or a large cape that craves lady parts when they're hot and bothered...
