I still have a couple of guitars and when the itch hits I play some. But I just don't have the stamina that I had when I was younger. My hands cramp more now, its to be expected but when that happens it usually ends with me putting the guitar away. My singing has now been reduced to karaoke night or just goofing around the house. I guess if someone was to drink enough and squint perhaps I would still be considered eye candy. My girlfriend seems to think so. |

When it starts to be work, it ceases to be fun and 99% of full time musicians spend there whole life broke. I heard somebody say once that only one guy gets to be Elvis.

These days with no smoking clubs a lot of musicians are happier, I bet.

Neil Young never was all that bright. I doubt if anyone under 60 even knows who he is.[This message has been edited by williegoat (edited 01-28-2022).]

Believe it or not, Neil's a personal friend of mine and yes, he's a little....different.

Neil Young is part of cancel culture now. I try to dig DLR but he always ends up saying something really stupid, boring and Boomer all at the same time.
I like listening to Gary alright (Geddy Lee). His playing talent speaks volumes more than DLR's showman talent. But he was fortunate to find Peart. Peart was the genius driving that ship.[This message has been edited by sourmash (edited 01-29-2022).]
