That’s a good observation. In 2016, I fervently defended my Trump-supporting friends and family, because it was definitely a policy > man decision. When tax cuts were introduced, I supported Trump’s decision. When Trump said we were getting out of Syria, I supported him (though it took awhile to actually leave).
What I saw overall though, my experience, was that most people I know that supported him for policy in 2016 turned into weird cult-like followers by 2020. Many are still on Facebook publicly supporting decisions they were previously against. Some are saying they still think this is all part of Trump’s plan, and Biden had to get sworn in so Trump could better drain the swamp.
So you’re right, I have changed my opinion on it over time, because I think people’s beliefs have changed over time. That said, it could just be my bubble of influence. |

Some believe that Trump and Biden some how 'changed faces' and Trump actually was sworn in, and that the "Deep State" will be taken down in March........[This message has been edited by maryjane (edited 01-22-2021).]

Based on President Biden's first few days in office and all his executive orders, I feel certain he will provide the links that will unite the opposing party.
Most go against everything Conservatives value.

The Republican Party is what is preventing a conservative party up there. McCain's gone but there's still McConnell, Romney and Graham types in the way.

It’s a shame to me that Romney went up against the heavyweight that was Obama. I believe he would’ve made for a great president. But the media decided to latch onto “binders full of women” as if it was remotely inappropriate (it really wasn’t, IMO), and the people raged.

It was all pat of The Plan of the Deep State. Worry not grasshoppers. The world here in America is unfolding just as it was written to do.

Obama is half White at least. He's who I call The Hollowman. The only time he could speak is when the teleprompter worked. Without it he was reduced to, "Om, om, it's, it's, om...teachable moment."
His apology tour and bowing to the Saudis was a powerful statement.
Rams, people who think those 3 are conservative misunderstand conservatism.
The demographics are done for Whites in The West. But that's no reason for Republicans to pander to leftists to try to remain relevant as they're doing. It's a race to be the best loser.
