Well, the wording was wrong. He won this time but isn't going to be President. It'll just happen again. The republic has been overthrown.

OMG! OMG! Europe in the 1930s. I so completely forgot about that.
Do you actually have anything to say about the specific issue that I raised, involving the invocation of a pardon to immunize someone against the possibility of prosecution, and whether that would nullify that same someone's right to claim Fifth Amendment protection against being compelled to testify?
I know that if I wanted to look, I could find online references to establish that this is not an idea that I have made up myself out of whole cloth.

Fair enough.
Pardons should come with a Legal Interaction Warning:
| quote | | This Pardon is a Self-Incrimination Agonist. Using this Pardon to immunize yourself against the possibility of prosecution may expose you to the possibility of being compelled to testify under penalty of perjury. Do not use this Pardon without consulting with a criminal defense attorney at law. |
|
I am surprised that anyone would take umbrage at my remarks in this vein, since they are not remarks about President Trump, per se.

You assume my comments were about pardons.
I was referring to 'talking heads' and their special brand of information sharing.

Dang, even I understood or interpreted it correctly..........
But then, the air I breath has a normal level of oxygen.

I understood that you were talking about "talking heads."
I've been talking about pardons.
You seem to have taken umbrage at my reference to umbrage, as if I were saying that you had taken umbrage. But that was not what I meant. I was saying that someone else had taken umbrage.

He came so close to dismantling their dastardly dominion, and still may. They cannot allow that to happen.

I don't believe the Democrats would have to say it was an admission of guilt, im pretty sure that anyone given a presidential pardon, accepting the pardon itself, through the eyes of the supreme court, is an admission of guilt of whatever crime they got pardoned for. So it would still go on record as "guilty of whatever".. Just that they got pardoned for it.

This just shows that inability of the TRUMP!!! "Conservatives" to see the truth; Trump was put in power by Putin, and trump made an absolute azz of himself, talking like a little banana-republic dictator while firing anyone who had the temerity to question anything he said or did....
The country turned against him after 300,000 American citizens died due to his "Covid-covid-covid...It will all be gone after the election" idiocy...
But you still believe that EIGHTY Per-CENT of America LOVES the great Trumper.........Even after he tried to over-throw the election....
Trump = Petty little dictator who wrecked America and cost hundreds of thousands of lives....Wake UP!
